Sun Tailor & Reema Live in Prachtwerk Berlin

Sun Tailor & Reema Live in Prachtwerk Berlin
Donnerstag | 26. April 2018 | 19:30 Uhr

An evening with two great headline acts!
From the UK, Reema and from Israel, Sun Tailor!
Doors at 19:30

Living in Berlin, Germany but born and raised in London, Reema says her self-penned achingly sad folk-inspired songs are her way of communicating and have been since she started writing them at the age of seven. Just little twinkles of guitar and her voice guide us through stories about love, loss, friendship, life and ghosts.
All the colorful stage clothes and album artwork are handmade by Reema herself and feature her drawings and paintings of paisley covered animals and people.

During the last years Reema has written songs featured on recent movie, ‚Love Rosie‘ and on the European soundtrack of ‚Twilight Eclipse‘ and supported great bands like ‚The Kaiser Chiefs‘, ‚Imagine Dragons‘ and ‚Biffy Clyro‘. Following her debut release, a live, analogue and 100% computer free vinyl collaboration with producer and arranger Guy Sternberg, she has now completed 5 new songs with producer Ethan Johns (Laura Marling/Ryan Adams and more)- all live and to tape performances played and performed by herself and Ethan.

Sun Tailor
It’s been almost two years, and almost a hundred shows since Arnon Naor (aka Sun Tailor) released his second album This Light.
Since then he has played his music live on stages across the world.
Starting in Israel, and travelling all over Europe, Japan, Russia and India, he’s brought his message of modern folk to many different people and communities.

After releasing his first album in 2012, Sun Tailor has become one of the leading figures in the growing Israeli folk scene, with both albums receiving major praise from indie and mainstream media.
Who’s at Your Window, the lead single from This Light, received extensive radio play both in Israel and in Germany. In part due to its dark and epic video, featured on several TV channels and leading blogs.

With his personal take on the one man show, Sun Tailor blends guitar, mandolin, percussion and live looping, creating a huge atmospheric sound, often sounding like a full band.
Always on a mission to create an intimate, heart opening experience, to make a crowd of strangers become friends. To fall in love with music, with life.
